This page explains the choices available to you about how Treasure & Trove Ltd, trading as Little India Treasures ("we", "us", "our"), shares your personal information with third parties such as our advertising partners, and how you can exercise control over that sharing. The choices available to you, and how you exercise them, depend on where you are located.

This page forms part of a wider set of legal and policy documents that together govern your use of the Site. The full list is set out at the end of this page, and every document is accessible from the footer of every page of the Site.

2. What we share, and why ⌄

As described in our Privacy Policy, we collect personal information through your interactions with us and with the Site, including through cookies and similar technologies. Depending on the cookie choices you have made, we may share some of this information with advertising partners such as Meta, Google, Pinterest, and TikTok, so that we and they can show you advertising that is more relevant to you, both on our Site and elsewhere.

We do not sell your personal information for cash. Sharing it for advertising purposes in this way is, however, treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the privacy laws of several US states, which is why this page exists.

3. Your choices if you are in the United States ⌄

If you are a resident of a US state with a consumer privacy law that provides this right, currently including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and a growing number of others, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information with third parties, and the use of your personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioural advertising. As a matter of policy, we extend this same choice to all our US customers, regardless of which state you live in, not only to residents of states where it is legally required.

[How to exercise this right: pending confirmation of the mechanism live on this page.]

If your browser or device sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat this automatically as a valid opt-out request for that browser and device, without you needing to take any further action.

4. Your choices if you are in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or Switzerland ⌄

UK and EU data protection law does not use the language of "sale" of personal data the way US state laws do. Instead, you have a broader set of rights, including the right to object to processing carried out for direct marketing at any time, which we must always honour, the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including interest-based advertising, and the right to withdraw consent to any cookies that rely on it, at any time, through the cookie preferences in the footer of the Site. These rights are explained in full in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

5. Your choices if you are in Canada ⌄

Canadian privacy law, including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and, for Quebec residents, Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector, is built around meaningful consent rather than a right to opt out of "sale." You may withdraw your consent to the use of your personal information for advertising purposes at any time by contacting us or managing your cookie preferences. Quebec residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information.

6. Your choices elsewhere ⌄

Wherever you are visiting from, you can always decline non-essential cookies through the cookie preferences in the footer, and you can always contact us to ask what personal data we hold about you or to ask us to stop using it for marketing. Wherever the mandatory law of your own country grants rights beyond those described on this page, those rights apply in full.
