We want checkout to be as straightforward as possible. Below you will find everything you need to know about how to pay at Little India Treasures, including our Buy Now Pay Later options and a few things worth knowing before you order.
Credit and debit cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
Your payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments, which is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant — the highest standard of payment security. Your card details are encrypted and are never stored by us.
Payment is taken immediately when you place your order.
Digital wallets
For a faster checkout experience, we also accept:
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Shop Pay
- PayPal
These options allow you to pay using payment details already saved on your device or in your account — no need to enter your card details manually. Simply select your preferred wallet at checkout.
Gift cards
Little India Treasures digital gift cards can be redeemed at checkout as full or part payment for any order. Simply enter your gift card code in the payment section at checkout and the balance will be applied automatically. If your order total exceeds your gift card balance, you can pay the remaining amount using any other accepted payment method.
Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and have no cash value. For full details, please see our Conditions of Sale.
Klarna — Buy Now Pay Later
We offer two Klarna payment options at checkout, giving you the flexibility to spread the cost of your order:
Pay in 3 — split your order into three equal, interest-free instalments. The first payment is made at checkout, with the remaining two collected automatically over the following 60 days. No interest. No fees if you pay on time.
Pay Later in 30 days — receive your order now and pay up to 30 days after it has been shipped. No interest. No fees if you pay on time.
Klarna is available on all orders except gift card purchases. Klarna's payment options are subject to their own eligibility checks, terms and conditions. Approval is not guaranteed and is at Klarna's discretion. You must be 18 or over to use Klarna.

A note on using Klarna responsibly
Buy Now Pay Later can be a convenient way to manage your spending — but it is a credit agreement and should be used thoughtfully. Please only use Klarna if you are confident you can meet the repayments. Payment security
All transactions on shoplittleindia.co.uk are processed through Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology throughout, indicated by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar. We do not store your payment card details at any point.
If your payment is declined, please check that your card details are correct, that your card has not expired, and that your billing address matches the address registered with your bank. If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact your bank or card issuer in the first instance, or get in touch with us at treasures@shoplittleindia.co.uk.
Currency and VAT
All prices on our website are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the prevailing rate. For international orders, your bank or card issuer will apply their own currency conversion rate at the time of the transaction. We are unable to process VAT refunds for international customers.
When is payment taken?
For card and digital wallet payments, your payment is taken immediately when you place your order. For Klarna Pay in 3, your first instalment is taken at checkout and subsequent payments are collected automatically. For Klarna Pay Later in 30 days, payment is collected up to 30 days after your order has been shipped.
We do not dispatch goods before payment has been confirmed. If there is a problem processing your payment, we will contact you before taking any further action.
