Some colour combinations have been working for so long that they feel like a rule of nature.
Navy and pink is one of them. It appears on the cotton prints of the French Riviera, on the ticking stripes of old linen cupboards, on the block-printed cloth of Rajasthan where deep indigo and rose madder have been printed side by side for centuries. There is a reason it keeps coming back. The navy is grounding and certain, the pink is warm and open, and between them they hold a balance that neither colour could manage alone.
In Sanganer, screen printing gives this classic pairing a contemporary flatness. Each colour is pulled through a fine mesh screen in a single even pass, the navy first and then the dusty rose, the squeegee drawing the colour across the full width of the cotton without hesitation. The result is a stripe with clean edges and even coverage, the kind of surface that lets the colour do all the work. What keeps it from feeling too perfect is the cotton itself, which gives the colour a warmth and a slight variation in tone that no digital print ever achieves.
The same fabric runs front and back and gathers into the ruffle that frames the cover, the navy and the rose folding together at the edge, the stripe breaking softly as the cloth pleats.

Every Pink & Blue cover is printed by hand, so no two are quite the same. The contrast between the navy and the dusty rose means any variation in colour weight shows clearly against the stripe, and you may notice a section where the navy reads a fraction deeper or a stripe of rose that caught the cotton with a little more warmth. The ruffle is gathered by hand, so its fullness will shift gently around the edge and the stripes will break at different points as the fabric pleats. Returns

You have 14 days from receiving your order to return it. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.

For change-of-mind returns, we email you a Royal Mail returns link — no printer needed, no postage to pay upfront. The cost of return postage is deducted from your refund.

For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we cover return postage in full and refund your original delivery charge. Sale items are final.
