Some colour combinations take a moment to arrive at, and then you cannot imagine them any other way.
Burgundy and peach is one of them. The deep, wine-dark stripe and the soft terracotta-pink sit together the way autumn does, the way a late afternoon in Rajasthan does, warm without being loud, rich without being heavy. It is a pairing that looks as though it has always existed, which is usually the sign that someone thought about it carefully before committing it to cloth.
In Sanganer, screen printing is used for bold, graphic work where the colour needs to be flat and even across a wide stripe. A squeegee draws the colour through a fine mesh screen laid over the cotton, one colour at a time, the burgundy first and then the peach, each pass building the stripe across the full width of the cloth. The result is a coverage that a block cannot achieve, dense and consistent, the edges of the stripe clean and sharp. What keeps it from feeling mechanical is the cotton itself, which absorbs the colour slightly differently from one section to the next, giving the surface a warmth that a printed paper or a digital file would never have.
The same fabric runs front and back and gathers into the ruffle that frames the cover, the deep burgundy and the warm peach alternating as the cloth folds, the stripe breaking into something softer at the edge.

Every Peach & Brown cover is printed by hand, so no two are quite the same. The broad stripes mean any variation in colour weight shows across the full surface, and you may notice a stripe where the burgundy sits a fraction deeper or a section of peach that caught the cotton with a little more warmth. The ruffle is gathered by hand, so its fullness will shift gently around the edge and the stripes will break at different points as the fabric pleats. These are the marks of a cloth made entirely by hand in Sanganer, and they are part of what makes your cushion yours.

Returns

You have 14 days from receiving your order to return it. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.

For change-of-mind returns, we email you a Royal Mail returns link — no printer needed, no postage to pay upfront. The cost of return postage is deducted from your refund.

For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we cover return postage in full and refund your original delivery charge. Sale items are final.
