Orange & Pink Striped Ruffle Cushion Cover

There are colour combinations that exist before anyone puts them together, waiting to be found.
Orange and pink is one of them. It should not work as well as it does. Orange is warm and forward, pink is soft and bright, and between them they ought to cancel each other out. Instead they do the opposite. The orange pushes the pink warmer and the pink pulls the orange lighter, and the result is a stripe that reads like a Rajasthani festival, like a market stall in full sun, like the kind of colour that makes people stop and reach out to touch it before they have decided whether they want it.
In Sanganer, this kind of bold, high-saturation work is done by screen printing, where a fine mesh carries the colour onto the cotton in a single even pass. The orange goes down first, then the pink, each one pulled across the full width of the cloth with a squeegee. The flatness of the screen-printed surface is what lets two colours this close in warmth sit next to each other without muddying. The edges stay clean, the colours stay distinct, and the stripe holds its energy across the whole cover.
The same fabric runs front and back and gathers into the ruffle that frames the cover, the orange and pink folding and breaking at the edge, the stripe catching the light differently as it pleats.

Every Orange & Pink cover is printed by hand, so no two are quite the same. The high saturation of both colours means any variation in weight shows clearly, and you may notice a stripe where the orange sits a fraction more red, or a section of pink that caught the cotton with a little more warmth. The ruffle is gathered by hand, so its fullness will shift gently around the edge and the stripes will break at different points as the fabric pleats. These are the marks of a cloth made entirely by hand in Sanganer, and they are part of what makes your cushion yours.

Returns

You have 14 days from receiving your order to return it. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.

For change-of-mind returns, we email you a Royal Mail returns link — no printer needed, no postage to pay upfront. The cost of return postage is deducted from your refund.

For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we cover return postage in full and refund your original delivery charge. Sale items are final.
